In the fall of 2014 I worked on a fun illustration project for the state party here in Florida. The idea was to illustrate the path Representative Steve Southerland was taking in his bid for re-election as a parody of the Candyland board game.

After mapping out the general map and working with staff there to determine the different "lands" of the game, I first drew each element by hand before scanning in and doing the color digitally.

The result was a colorful and entertaining political piece distributed in North Florida in late 2014. With citations and further reading on the back of the board, it was definitely a conversation starter.
