During the 2012 election cycle, I found the time to paint this portrait of the President to hang in the Florida campaign headquarters in Tampa. The plan was to paint a pair of these square canvases, one of the President and one of Vice President Joe Biden. Unfortunately, as campaigns always do, things picked up and this idea fell by the wayside. But this was undoubtably a fun distraction and one of my favorite oil portraits I have done.
