Following the 2010 election the first thing I did was paint this portrait of Rahm Emanuel over a 72 hour period. It depicts my favorite politician, one of my favorite quotes from The West Wing, and perhaps ultimately, a sense of optimism that was hard to come by after that particular cycle.
