In 2011 and 2012 I was commissioned to do a series of illustrations depicting Florida Governor Rick Scott by the Florida Democratic Party. I used these to explore a different style of illustration, as my background was always very rooted in realism.

Fun fact: Once I began to be interested in politics, the advice literally everyone would give me in art school was "You should be an Editorial Cartoonist!" Much like the "You're thinking about going to law school? You should totally be a courtroom artist!" Yeah. Thats what I would do with a law degree.
